More about Adam Hughes

Adam Hughes is arguably one of the greatest comic artists, with a 37-year career working for clients such as Hugh Hefner to Disney. He has created art for major franchises such as Star Wars and Star Trek, drawing characters such as Betty, Veronica and Hellboy. Despite his extensive portfolio, he has never been asked to draw Daredevil professionally, a fact he finds a little bitter. Born in New Jersey, Hughes moved to Atlanta, Georgia at 25, and enjoyed the proximity to DisneyWorld. He has won major comic awards such as the Eisner, Harvey, and Inkpot, and had a book on the New York Times bestseller list, peaking at #2. Although primarily an artist, Hughes can also write comic books, but he avoids lettering as he considers it a form of chaos magic. He dislikes hugs, charges 20 euros for one and is married to Allison Sohn. Born in New Jersey, Hughes moved to Atlanta, Georgia at 25, and enjoyed the proximity to DisneyWorld.
